Here's a quick and easy breakdown using the **ROME** method! 💡 🔴 **R** – Respiratory  🔵 **O** – Opposite (pH and CO2 move in opposite directions)  🟢 **M** – Metabolic  🟡 **E** – Equal (pH and CO2 move in the same direction) ### ABG Cheat Sheet: - **Respiratory Acidosis**: CO2↑, pH↓  - **Respiratory Alkalosis**: CO2↓, pH↑  - **Metabolic Acidosis**: HCO3↓, pH↓  - **Metabolic Alkalosis**: HCO3↑, pH↑  ### Normal ABG Values: - **pH**: 7.35-7.45  - **CO2**: 35-45  - **HCO3**: 22-26 ### Key Signs & Treatment: - **Respiratory Acidosis**: Common in COPD, hypoventilation.
